What Happens on a School Trip?
If your child’s class teacher arranges a school trip, your child will receive a packed lunch in a ‘grab bag’ from Catering Leeds. Your class teacher will arrange this for your child by letting the catering team in school know who then orders the packed lunches from Catering Leeds. Of course, parents/carers are welcome to send their child to school with their own packed lunch for a school trip if they wish. We ask that parents/carers inform us of this with advance notice to avoid any food waste.
Packed Lunches
Some children have packed lunches at school. We ask that parents/carers follow our healthy packed lunches leaflet.
Please do not send your child to school with juice or fizzy drinks. Only water should be sent to school in reusable water bottles. Please do not send in any nuts (due to severe nut allergies) and ensure your child has a healthy packed lunch (details below).
