Tracking Progress in Early Years Foundation Stage
Within the EYFS curriculum, there are three prime and four specific areas of learning, that planning and assessment is based upon. These areas are: Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World abd Expressive Arts and Design.
We use Target Tracker to record the progress of each child. Teachers use a range of ongoing teacher assessments through observation to gather evidence. Please see the document used to support this process.

Tracking Progress in Non-Core Subjects
Progress in non-core subjects is tracked according to our Curriculum Essentials. Assessment in non-core ensures that all skills are built upon and developed each year so that each child can access the full curriculum of each subject. Teachers use a range of assessment strategies including formative and summative assessment. All teachers strive to ensure our achieve their full potential through rigorous differentiation and ambitious end points.
