Transitions for September
Welcome to our new Transitions page where you will find links to individual class pages to support your child with transitioning into their new year group. On each page, you will find activities and resources to help to prepare your child as they move into their next class. You will also find resources to support their learning as they move up the school.
A message from Miss Milivojevic
I have been so proud of you all for adjusting so well to learning at home and I have been extremely impressed with your effort and hard work. We have absolutely loved hearing from you all on Showbie and Tapestry – you have certainly all been very busy.
I am also very proud of our pupils in Foundation Stage 2, Year 1 and Year 6 who have returned to school so well. They have been a real credit to themselves and the school for adjusting so well to some of the changes that we have in place. It was wonderful to welcome you back to school and I enjoyed being able to see your smiling faces again!
Well done too, to all of our children who have remained in school since we closed our doors back in March 2020. Some of our pupils have continued to attend school each week. As you can imagine, school was very quiet and felt very different because we only had such a small group of children in school, but they have all been fantastic and their attitude and commitment has been superb! Well done to you all!
We are now nearing the summer holidays and I know many of you are excited about the new school year. I hope you find this page and your own class transition page useful in helping you to get ready for your new class. Your teachers have been busy preparing activities and resources to help you over the summer holidays to prepare you for your new learning journey in your new class. You will all also have the opportunity to chat with your new class teacher and share some of the things you are looking forward to about next year!
I am really looking forward to seeing you all again and cannot tell you just how proud I am of every single one of you!
Take care, Miss Milivojevic x
