At St Joseph’s, we are incredibly grateful for the invaluable support that our parents and carers provide for our pupils. We know how well our families have been able to adapt to home learning so now that we can welcome all of our pupils back to school, we wanted to provide opportunities for our pupils to continue their learning at home, if they choose to. The homework given will prepare and support your child’s learning across the curriculum each half term. The homework tasks below are optional. Activity 1

Start your learning by counting to 100. Start by counting in 1’s and then progressing to 2’s, 5’s. Sing and dance along to the songs with Jack Hartman.

Now use these sheets to practise writing your numbers 0-100. Make sure that the digits are the correct way round. 0-100 number formationTell an adult what each digit represents.

Activity 2

Use the top tips below to help you write your dairy entry. It can be about anything you like but should be a memorable events that you can write about in the correct order.


Activity 6

Practise writing all your letters precursively. Remember to always start on the line. Use this interactive resource to help you form your letters correctly. Activity 3

Use the african animal shapes as the collage materials or create your own. Collage materials


Look at the powerpoints and record all the facts you learn. You could do this by making a poster, recording a film or creating a book. The choice is yours!
