Whole School Closure: Updates and Letters
Following the most recent government announcement, school is now closed from Tuesday 5th January 2021 to all pupils except vulnerable children and children of key workers.
In the event of our usual communication method (T2P) going down again, any updates or letters sent to parents/carers via email will be posted here for your information.
Welcome from the Head Teacher
On behalf of all staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to our school website.
St Joseph’s is a vibrant Catholic school where each child is a valued and committed member of our Christian community. Each child brings a unique contribution to our school and we work hard to ensure they have the best possible start in life. Our children are at the heart of every decision we make and we are fully committed to meeting the needs of each and every child in order for them to achieve their full potential.
Central to this is the guidance we draw from our school ethos where Christian values are experienced through our daily lives and relationships, through prayer, worship and celebration. As a Catholic school, our fundamental mission is to live by the Gospel values of love, peace, hope and faith.
We are proud of our creative curriculum which provides a rich and exciting stimulus, where high quality opportunities take into account the interests and experiences of our children. Through personalised learning within a safe and happy environment, each child can develop their skills and celebrate their talents.
Our children work hard and we are delighted with their academic achievements. We also pride ourselves in developing the whole child. We work together to allow children to develop themselves socially, morally and spiritually and to celebrate their unique and individual qualities.
We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school and regard you as an active partner in your child’s education and value your interest and support.
Our website aims to give you a taster of what St Joseph’s is all about along with useful and important information. Our class pages are updated regularly with parent newsletters, learning journeys, along with some really useful suggestions of how to help at home.
I hope you find your visit to our school website useful. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any further information or would like to come and visit us here at St Joseph’s.
If you require any paper copies of any school documentation or information from the website, please contact our school office on 01937 582163 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
